Music in Their Blood

Ok so really have no idea where they get this I mean I sang in choir in high school and a little in church, but the closet Corey has ever gotten to playing in a band or singing is playing the radio. These boys just love music. Kaden has always been a singer he love singing. He has memorized songs really early on. Music really sooth him. It totally calms him down when he is upset. Well today when Kaden was playing his guitar Kaleb wanted to play with him. He loved it. He would not leave it a lone. I just think it is so funny.

Kaleb Climbed

We (Auntie Monica, the boys and I) were playing in the boys room and all of a sudden Kaleb crawled up Kaden's step stool and almost into Kaden's bed. Auntie Monica put her hands up to see how far he would go, so he wouldn't fall. He went all the way and into the bed. I just can not believe it. My kids are way to strong for their own good. I'm going to have to start watching him like a hawk now. I have a picture but it is totally blurry SORRY.

Kidnap My Heart

Just a minute ago Kaden did the cutest thing ever. We (Auntie Monica, Kaden, Kaleb and I) were playing in the boys room and I told Kaden to sing a song to Auntie Monica. Well Kaden started playing his guitar and singing. He started singing "You Kidnap My Heart" while strumming his guitar. He sang those words over and over again.

Teachers Again

This morning we are heading back to the classroom to teach PLNU students about babies and their siblings. The first time we went Kaleb was 2 weeks old. I had to bring Kaden as well and Susan (the Professor) was like oh that could be cool they can see what it is like to have a little brother. Every time after that she has requested Kaden to come and share. Kaden the last time shared with the class how much he loved his brother and if we have another lil baby we have to get rid of our cat. This has been a joke with Corey and I and I think we had said it to many time around Kaden. We need to start keeping those jokes between us. So today we embark on a new little adventure. It will be interesting. I will write back and let you all know what happens...Update:
It went really well today. Kaleb did everything he needed to do. Kaden talked about how much he loves his brother. It went really smoothly, I was so happy and Kind of surprised. We all had a great time. Susan was so sweet and asked good questions. She also was so generous to give the boys books again. They just love the books she gives them. She has gotten them books every time we have gone. Kaden gets so excited to open his thank you gift as soon as we walk out the door. Today was a good day.

Well after the dedication we headed to our great friends house the Brownlees. They opened their home for us to just hang out and chill even though they were not there. SO sweet. Thank You. We were just hanging out taking pictures (of coarse...HAHAHA). We had a BBQ and some great dessert pizza's. YUMMMM. Some of us took a dip in the pool, it was just a great time. Thank You Brownlee's and everyone that came.

Kaleb's Dedication

Kaleb's got Dedicated on Sunday. It was such a great moment. Pastor Bob is the one who dedicated him. I'm so unbelievably glad that Corey's parents and Gab were able to be here for Kaleb's Dedication. They were able to come on stage with us and support us and Kaleb. It was so great our San Diego family was there to support us as well. We are so Lucky to have Auntie Monica, Grandma Myrna, GiGi and Auntie Laura. They were the ones taking pictures and video taping the dedication. Over all they were just there for us. We are so lucky to have such a GREAT family. Thank you for being there for us. WE just love you guys.

Turtle Bonding

This weekend Ken (Corey's Dad) took walks with Kaden and they would walk up to SDSU to look at the turtles and to just hang out. The funny thing is both days that they went for a walk it lasted at least 2 hours. It was so sweet to see their bond grow. On their walk they would pass Kaden's new school but Kaden didn't want to show his Grampa the school on the way up but on the way back he wanted to share his new school with his Grampa. The second trip to the turtles Kaden wore and Grampa hat so they would match (Kaden looked like Fievel ). Kaden also had to sit at every bench on the whole walk (poor Grampa). On their way home Grampa thought it would be nice and fun to get some sundaes at Mc Donald's. They each got their own sundae and an ice water and sat there at the counter eating away. Kaden wanted to save his ice water and keep it for later. He brought it home and stuck in the fridge and had it for dinner. It has taken quit a trip with Kaden and his Grandparents. It started kind of rocky and now it is unbelievable. He just loves spending time with them. You can just tell he truly loves them.

My Jedi

Kaden was so excited for his graduation Corey and I got him light sabers (BTW they are very noisy). He absolutely loves them. We had Kaden's graduation robe to take extra pictures and he wanted to take pictures with his light saber. He loves it he looked just like a Jedi. It was so sweet.

Fling Boys and Grandparents Funny Tidbits of the Visit

Gramma had unloaded my dishwasher and it is usually Kaden's job, well Gramma was marking it on Kaden's chore chart and told him he didn't have to do it today and Kaden said "OOOOHHH Gramma THANK YOU so much, that was so sweet of you". He really couldn't believe it. It was so sweet. He was so thankful. It was truly sweet.

Gramma and Kaden got to read the bucket book together. It was the cutest book. It is about filling people invisible buckets that are inside them by being nice to each other. When you are nice to each other it makes you feel good and then that fills up peoples buckets.

We (Grandparents, Kaden, Kaleb, Corey and I) and Corey asked Kaleb "what are you looking at" and Kaden replied "Gramma of Course".
Grampa and Kaden went on walk again today. They walked up to SDSU and checked out the turtles...Today and yesterday. On the way back today they stopped by Mc Donald or as Kaden calls it "The Donald's" and got a Sundae and a ice water that is still saved in my fridge. They have the best time bonding on their walks. This is the best picture of them. I love it. It was them walking home from their walk.
Gramma and Kaden were playing with Kaden's new light sabers and kept telling his Gramma "You didn't kill me you got my friend" then he would say to her "don't worry you still have more lives". I think it is from Star Wars Wii game.Gramma got to give the boys a bath...It was so sweet the boys had a great time. We got some really cute pictures of it to.Kaden, Gramma, Grampa and Corey pick up sticks. Kaden one one both game games...He was really getting the hang of the black stick. Another game they were all having fun with was Whack a Mole. It was so fun and great to see. They had a great time until Corey figured out that his lil mole guy was broken. HAHAHA He was getting mad because he wasn't winning or even getting close. We were just about to leave to get some scrumptious frozen yogurt when Kaden stuck his thumb in his mouth and Gramma said "no don't suck your thumb" and then she pulled his thumb out and asked him "Do you want to suck mine"? In a joking manner and Kaden answered "No, it's old".

We had such a great time with Gramma and Grampa. We are so excited that this trip only comes to an end for 5 days and then we all will all be going to Virgina together. I can't wait. I want to say thank you Gramma and Grampa for everything you did while you were here we love you guys so much. THANK YOU! =)
