1 Trip to the Groceries Store

Corey and Kaden went to the grocery store together and Corey was pushing Kaden in the cart. Corey pushed the cart over to the deli and was going to get some lunch meat. Corey made his order and said thank you and started pushing the cart.
Kaden said "Dad where is my piece"?
Corey said "Piece of what"?
Kaden replied "my piece of meat, where is it"?
Corey went on to tell him that "you don't always get a sample"
Kaden said "Excuse me (to the lady behind the counter), Excuse me where is my sample"?
Lady behind counter said "oh would you like a piece"?
Kaden replied "Yes please".


Later on Down another isle...

Corey was picking out beans for tacos this week and Kaden started being his charming self.
Kaden: "Hello"
Man 1: "Hello"
Kaden: "you scared me"
Man 1: "You scared me too, no one is ever this friendly anymore"
Kaden: "AHHHHHHH" in his new little scream he has been doing when he is nervous (can you say socially awkward)
Man 1 laughed
Corey went to move down the isle
Kaden yelled out to the man and said "Bye, I love you"
Man 1: "Bye, I love you to who ever you are"

1 Ilse down...

Kaden: "Hi"
Man 2: "hi"
Kaden: "I'm Kaden, this is my daddy Corey Fling. That's your name right dad is that your name"?
Man 2 Laughed and said "Nice to meet you"

Corey and Kaden were standing in line and Kaden started talking to the guy in front of them (lets call him man 3)
Kaden: "Hi, I'm Kaden I'm 4 and half. This is my daddy Corey Fling"
Man 3: "I'm Kieth"
Kaden: "You are a ghost...BOOOOOOO"
Man 3: "Sounds like you a ghost"
Kaden: "No, I'm a chicken" (Add Chicken sounds now)
Man 3 "I have a daughter your age"
They went on talking for 5 minutes or so and then
Kaden: "I'm eating lightning, and I got grapes that turned into raisins"
Man 3: "Oh that is nice...Have a good dinner".
Kaden: "Thanks, Bye"

I just laughed when Corey came home and told me...Can you say eventful. So funny.

SORRY

I'm sorry I have not been blogging....I will be back soon. We have had my Dad in town and now we are leaving town....I will be back and you will LAUGH =]

Interest

We (my dad, Corey, Kaden and I) were sitting around just hanging out and somehow talk about money came up. Dad said jokingly to Kaden "can I borrow some of your money" Kaden replied "No, mommy and daddy have money and they can lend it to you". Dad went on joking with Kaden and would just kept saying no. This went on for 10 maybe 15 mins and then my dad said "OK well how about I give you interest"? Kaden ran to his room and grabbed his piggy bank (well his is a little dog) and handed it to his Grandpa. Kaden said "Here you g Grandpa". The funny thing is Kaden has no idea what interest is, when Corey explaned it to him Kaden said "bring it on Grandpa".

I DID IT

I made Kaleb laugh/sing. It was so cute. I was sing Christmas Carols to him while I was feeding him and all of a sudden the booger just thought it was time to laugh. It was super cute and then he was singing. Man I gotta tell you this kid is advanced. HAHAHA, I'm just kidding. I'm so excited. I will try and post a video, but I gotta tell you I'm singing and I hope it doesn't crack you ear drum. Check back soon hopefully it will be up there.

Ummm, I think you are on the List...Let me check

I was feeding Kaleb and Kaden said "Mom I'm going to have a birthday party it is just pretend and it is going to be super fun. OK". I said "OK", as he went on putting things into a box I asked him what he was doing and he replied "I'm putting things in here so you can buy them at my birthday party". I just watched him put in the most random things around the living room into the box. Kaden then looked at me and said "mom this party is going to be so super fun, do you want to come?" I said "I would love to". Kaden took a green paper out of the box and said "OK let me see if you are on the list". I said "wait so I have to be on a list to come to your party?" Kaden replied "YUP, ummmmm I think your on here let me check". He went up and down the writing on the paper and said "OH yep here you are, here is Kaleb and daddy too. Oh I forgot Auntie, oh yup here she is". Kaden then went into his room and got all his guests fruit and told them to look into the box for things to buy. CRAZY KID. I really love what his mind comes up with.

Come Come Auntie Gabbers

Corey and I went to our Wednesday night bible study and when we get home we get the run down of what Kaden did and so forth. It is usually he did well not much...Maybe a funny story here or there but last night there was a funny story. Gab was looking into the fridge and said "There isn't anything good to eat in here", Kaden came into the kitchen and said there is tons of stuff to eat, let just take a look. Well here you go Auntie there is yogurt, you like yogurt". Gab said "Na, not right now". Kaden said "Auntie, you can put that (Turkey) with this yellow stuff (mustard) that taste pretty good...and on some bread there you go". Gab shook her head no and then Kaden said "ok well you can eat that green stuff (spinach) and add some of this dressing and make a salad that taste good". Gab shook her head no again and said "that doesn't really sound good". Kaden was so over and looked at her and said "Well Auntie Gabbers I really don't know what you want, I'm gonna go eat my dinner. I will help you figure it out later". After he finished his dinner he said to her "now come on Auntie what do you want"? She said it was so funny. He wouldn't stop till she ate.

Santa

Kaden wrote Santa his letter yesterday. We found a cute little set (my friend Lyn told me about). This set is a mail box with paper, stickers, stamps, and postcard (that Santa can write your lil one back). Kaden had so much fun. When Santa wrote Kaden a little note Kaden thought it was the coolest thing ever. It was super funny Kaden had to have his picture taken with the postcard. We decided to share.

Closer

Kadenism

Corey said to Kaden "why don't you give Kaleb a kiss", and Kaden said "No, he will take my powers". Corey asked him what were his powers and Kaden said "FAST" and then Corey asked "what are daddy's powers"? Kaden said "SLOW"

Auntie Gabbers said to Kaden "Kaden you are my big heart print", Kaden said "your my hero".

BAD MILO

Milo is so getting on Corey and my nerves, he keeps on taking my hair rubber bands and eating them and throwing up. He used to fetch them and when he started eating/throwing them up we decided he shouldn't have them anymore. I have a hair drawer that used to have all my hair things in it, but now that Milo can open it I moved things around. Crazy cat. I swear this cat has a low-jack on every rubber band in the house. This morning he found yet another one and I found it in his food dish (for some reason that is where he tries to hid them). I yelled at Corey "we are so getting rid of this cat" Kaden came into the room and said "no mom he will get better", I replied "I donno Kaden he wont stop, I don't know what to do with him. I think you need to have a talk with him". Kaden went to find the cat (he was hiding underneath the bed) and said "MILO, common you have to stop eating mom hair things, you are in big trouble. I'm not happy with you right now". Kaden then came up to me and said "now mom, I talked to Milo and he isn't going to do it anymore and if he does I told him he was going to get a punishment". Corey asked Kaden "what punishment is Milo going to get"? Kaden replied "He is going to get a smack". I'm telling you this cat needs a lotta prayer or a good home...either one I'm good with

If I was A Girl...

Gab and Kaden were eating dinner and Kaden was chowing down bacon (they were eating baked potatoes). Gab said "I guess your not a Vegitarian". Kaden said, "NO, I'm not a Veggigarian. Daddy's not a Veggigarian. I'm gonna be like Daddy". Then Gab said "don't you want to be like your cool Auntie Gabbers"? Kaden replied "Well I can't be a cool Auntie Gabbers, I'm a boy. Now if I was a girl I could be like a cool Auntie Gabbers. I'm a Boy so I'm gonna be like Daddy".

Heart Prints

Corey and I just got home from a much needed date (kinda sad we are already home =]) and Gab was giving us the run down of the night. She was reading a book to Kaden called "Heart Prints" and it is about giving people your goodness through heart prints. It is a really good book. Gab asked Kaden how many heart prints he gave away today. Kaden, looking at his fingers and counting them, said "Ten". Gab then asked "who did you give them to"? Kaden said "to me". Gab explained "no, you are supposed to leave them behind to people. Like you gave Kaleb a hug, you just left him with a heart print". Kaden said "NOO, I can't give my heart prints away, I need them". Gab then said "I gave you a heart print because I gave you a hug and I gave Kaleb a heart print because I gave him a kiss. You need to give your heart prints away". Kaden leaned over and gave Gab a kiss and a hug and said "Here you go, here is your heart print Auntie. Can I give Kaleb one". Gab answered "yes honey".

Your So Cute

This morning Kaden woke up and Kaleb was laying on his floor mat. Kaden said "Good morning" and ran over to Kaleb and said "I love lil brother, your so cute". Kaden was rubbing Kaleb cheeks and whispering into is ear. Kaden told me "it's a boy thing mom". =] I love it. I love seeing there bond form, I love that Kaden just loves his little brother so much. How did I become so blessed.

My Collection

Corey and Kaden came home from work and school and Corey told me the best story. So Corey and Kaden were talking the car on the way home and Kaden said "Hey daddy did you know that Max's mom is pregnant" and Corey replied "No, I didn't". Kaden then went on to say "you know dad sometimes when mommies have the babies they have fat bellies" and Corey said "Now Kaden that isn't very nice, you aren't supposed to say that". Kaden replied, "Ok I will add it to my collection". Corey asked what collection he was talking about and Kaden said "the collection of thing I'm not supposed to say".

MISSING MOM and DAD

We miss you guys. We had a great visit with you and just thought we should send out a shout out. Kaden and Kaleb wouldn't stop talking about you guys. We love you
