Chutes and Ladders
Tonight we got to play some games with Kaden. Corey and I just love playing games with Kaden. However Kaden does like to switch the rules around still so he can win, but is taking it a lot better when he does loose. =) Well tonight I had the privilege of winning the first game and Kaden won our second one. It was really cute during the first game every time Kaden and I landed on the same square he gave my little girl a kiss. Oh and that only lasted until I pulled a head at the end...then yeah not so much. I think he wasn't that happen with me. LOL Kaden made Corey play the other girl piece because he got third on the first game. I guess he was trying to punish Corey. I love when Kaden is in his sweet mode.

Time OUT
Kaleb has now officially had his first time out. He climbed up Kaden's latter and climbed onto Kaden's top bunk and hid in the coroner. OH man was I mad. He wouldn't come for anything. I finally got a hold of him and placed him right into time out. He sat there for a whole min and a half. Oh boy was he mad. Hopefully he has learned his lesson. I feel so bad because he sat in time out smacking his lil hand. He does that when we tell him no a lot because we have smacked his hands before when trying to teach him things and so he just sat there smacking away. =(

Lady drama
I picked up Kaden from school and this was our conversation...
Kaden said: "Mom I have lady drama"
I asked: "Well buddy what is it"
Kaden said: "I just don't know mom if I want to marry Myla or not"
I said: "You know honey you don't have to get married right away you are only 5 years old"
Kaden said: "I know mom, I'm just thinking for when I'm a teenager...maybe when I'm 55 I will get married"
I said: "Honey I'm sure that will be Ok if you want"
Kaden said: "well when do I have to get married so I can have babies...I want 4 kids.
I said: "Buddy you will know when the time is right and when you meet the right girl you will want to get married then"
Kaden said: "I'm going to find that girl and then we are going to get married, buy a house and have babies go to Home Depot and buy sticks ropes and nails and build them all tree houses. Does that sound good mom"?
I said: "Totally Honey sounds like a great plan".
I love when we have deep conversations on the way home from school. Kaden just makes me laugh all the time.

Homework
Kaden has I think a lot of homework. I think we kind of make it worse because we add to it. Kaden reads me 9 books every day, he writes in his journal 3-4 times a week, he has 6-7 pages of written work ( it could be math or handwriting), we run through 120 site words and this is not including the books we read for fun and we try and do more writing on the weekends and we work on workbooks. There are days that Kaden can do all of his homework in 25-35 mins and then there are a few days that is takes him at least a hour or more when he doesn't want to focus. He is learning how fast it can go if he just focuses and gets-er-done. I'm proud of him...he is sure a smart lil guy.

Presents
For Valentines Day we got the boys some presents. We got Kaden the Mouse Trap game, oh man he was thrilled. He loved it. Kaleb actually picked out his present (I hid it for a month and it was great...I miss when you can't do that anymore). Kaleb picked out this big monkey. Oh man when he saw it this morning he ran and giggled, he grabbed him and fell to the ground. It was so sweet. He cuddled him all morning. Kaleb also loved his card he sat on the couch reading it to his monkey. =) Man my kids couldn't be cuter....Sorry for all the bragging I just love it. =) We played Kaden's game when we got home from church. He kicked our bottoms. It was a lot of fun even if we all lost to a 5 year old. ;) I'm so happy that the gifts were such a hit.

Kaden winning the game =)
Valentines Day FUN!
Today is the day we show others that we love them. There are so many different ways to spend your holiday, some will buy presents or flowers or buy a nice meal. You can spend the whole day with your family going to church, playing games, going for a nice walk/bike ride, and playing on the playground and ending your day with a great meal and a delicious dessert, giving hugs and kisses to your sweet little guys and sending them off to bed, curling up on the couch with your best friend in the world feeling so blessed that you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend in the world. If I had to choose one I would pick the second one EVERY TIME. I have had the best day today. I think you can guess what we did but I didn't mention a funny little tid-bit of our journey today. We headed to Mission Bay Park and it was a blast. I love that you have water, sand, grass, playground all in one. It is truly San Diego at it's finest. While we were playing our trip got cut a little while poor Auntie Gabbers was standing by the bike a bird flew high and dropped small nugget on her head and after a minute or so she realized it wasn't a child throwing something at her but it was a fly by pooping and as thrilled as she must have been she handled it with grace and started using wipes galore to clean up. We started heading toward the car and headed home for a scrumptious meal and a shower. HAPPY VALENTINES EVERYONE. I hope you felt loved and you loved someone. I know I did. =)

Brother Helping Brother
I just love these two boys more then words can say and I just love how much they would do for the other one. Kaleb hates when Kaden is in timeout and would do anything just to make him smile. I love how Kaden tries to teach Kaleb things like walking down our stairs and really anything. He looks out for him and tries to protect him. I really have the best boys in the world...now I know that every mother thinks this but man I can't imagine two better boys in the world.

Kaleb Had fun on a Boat
We were picking up our car from the dealership and Kaleb and his daddy were having fun playing on the play boat that is in the middle of their showroom. It was so cute. Everyone could hear him giggling and you could see people starting to smiling all through out the office. It was so cute. I love my giggle monster. =) I wish I could have gotten a video of him giggling but as soon as he had seen the phone he stopped and was just playing. =)

Sea World Fun =)
We had a fun day today. We (Monica, the boys and I) headed to if you hadn't guessed it already by the title yes Sea World. We love that place and we love it even more when nobody is there LOL. Kaden wanted to so badly to head up on this kids crazy coarse in Sesame Street play area. You climb up this big net thingy and there are bridges and slides and tubes to go trough. It was crazy to stand there and letting him go off on his own and letting him experience it on his own. I just stood there not believing my eyes on how my baby is this big kid. This big kid is going to be 6. WHERE may I ask has the time gone? I keep naively think it will at least maybe get a little easier....HOWEVER I was completely wrong. I think it is getting harder. I have no idea how I will do when my last lil ones grows up and is able to do these types of obstacles on their own. I'm so very proud to be called his mom being. I have the two best boys in the world. I am so blessed and I just can't believe they are mine. =)
While we were at Sea World we saw seals, beluga whales, a walrus eating and regurgitating a fish once again (I'm thinking we may need to stop seeing the walrus all together the next time we go or maybe a different time....YUCK). We saw flamingos walking through the park (This is a first one for me....it was pretty cool). Our trip to Sea World was a blast like it always is. The kids had a great time and that truly is the most important part. I hope you like the videos and pix. =)

Kaden's Valentines Party
Kaden had a Valentines party today. I had the absolute joy of being able to work in his class (thanks to Auntie Monica for watching Kaleb). I went in early to help set up and help the kids pass out their valentines. The kids were so excited for their party and to pass out their valentines out to their friends. They had tons of goodies and they were all just giggling away. It is so much fun to be able to go into his class and help out. Happy Valentines Day Kaden =)

Car Doors
I just think it is funny and amazing on how lazy kids get when the car door can be open with the push of a button on your keys....Kaden's quote "Mom I just love this car all i need to do is push a button and it does everything for you....why can't I push a button and be done with school".

We bought a car =)

Corey and I bought a car this weekend...YAY it is about time. We have been wanting to buy a car for some time and we found one. Oh man we are so excited. The boys are beyond excited. Kaden tells me reason after reason why he loves it...I will share a couple of them with you. 1. I love my storage area mom (where he puts his sunglasses and mints LOL). 2. I love my dark windows and the screen....it helps with my eyes (we now have tinted windows and they have built in screens to help block the windows). 3. I love all this room in here. 4. I love these moving things (the arm rests....poor deprived child LOL). 5. I love that it fits my whole body (he gets his own seat). 6. I love the buttons mom you don't have to do anything but push buttons we can be like the Jetsons all we have to do is push buttons (it has a remote control to open the doors). Kaleb's favorite thing is the sunroof. He just laughs when you open it. Well while we are away their favorite Auntie Gabbers watched them. We were only going to be gone a couple of hours because we were only supposed to be looking (however we found one we weren't willing to pass up). Gab took the cutest video of Kaleb while we were away dancing to Kaden's iPod Touch music. I loved it and had to share.
BEANS
Oh man Kaleb loves to feed him self. Even more then that this little guy just LOVES beans any kind Black, Pinto, Chili anyway he likes them. If ever in a bind and he wont eat we always know we always have a back up. Well tonight we had nachos and I make Kaleb's with more beans and a few chips and well I have always heard a picture is worth a thousand words, I sure hope you will like these pictures. I am sure you will agree with me they speak volumes. =) Oh the mess.Stitches are OUT! YAY!
Kaden got his stitches out today. It was quick and easy. The nurse hurt him a little bit but all in all he was a trooper and it went smoothly. We just need to put some vitamin E on it and sunscreen for a year. I think this was a great testament of Kaden and who he is and shows what a great kid he is and how well he handles stress, pain and the unknown. He did great and he is such a remarkable young man and he is beyond funny. After the doctors office we ran to walmart and he said "I'm a sexy man alright" and then when his dad came home he went running up to him and said "Hey dad, this is the new me" and then he lifted up his chin. Man I don't know what I'm going to do with him sometimes. =)
