Christmas Lights with the Longs

I LOVE this time of year. I love celebrating my savors birth. I love the kids learning more about Jesus and his birth. We are celebrating new and old traditions this year. We always love seeing Christmas lights. The kids go Ohhhhh and Ahhhhh as we walk the streets of glittering lights. See the creativity that people put out just for other enjoyment. Tis the Season right. It is amazing how the little things can be my kids favorite things to do. It doesn't have to cost a lot it just has to be done as a family. My crazy lil family, oh how I love spending time with you. I love this season for so many reasons. Thank You God for always giving us what we need and one of my favorite thing is more family time. Here are some pictures of one of my family favorite traditions that we do every year.

It's a M Christmas

Every year we get together with our extended family in San Diego and have a lil Christmas. We love our extended family. Myrna always makes an amazing dinner and dessert. The kids LOVED their presents. They are so generous, they got the kids sleeping bags and pillows. Kaleb wass yelling "SWAwweet". They loved them.  Their Auntie Laura also got them some great books. The kids loved them. Kaleb said over and over "I got stickers, I got stickers". So sweet. Thank you guys for another Great Christmas filled with love. =)

OB Parade

For the last few years we have gone to the OB Christmas Parade. The kids love it and it is so eclectic. We always go with the Mays and a verity of people. This year was a ton of fun and we saw some great things, hung out with fun people and had AhhhMazing food. :)

Kaden had the best quote after catching the roll of toilet paper. I had told him he needed to throw it back and he said "Look mom I got my first free roll of toilet paper". He said with true excitement. :) What are you gonna do. I let him keep it.

Christmas Tree

This is our first Christmas to stay in San Diego in over 7 years. We are so excited to stay home for Christmas. We were already able to get our tree and decorate. Put up out side decorations (still trying to twist Corey's arm to put up a few lights outside).
