Coffee-Mochas
We were driving home from Church and Starbucks (surprise surprise) and I got a free coffee (YIPPPPEEEE). Well Kaden wanted a sip of it and Corey handed it to him. Kaden said "Do you know why I drink coffee" Corey asked "Why do you drink coffee Kaden"? Kaden replied "because I have really bad headaches and the coffee helps my headaches to go away". Corey then asked "What is a headache Kaden"? Kaden then said "a headache is these swirly things that go around and around and the coffee makes it better...Thank you Coffee-mocha". HAHAHA =] it was so funny.

Only Room for Two
Last night before everyone went to bed Kaden, Kaleb and Gramma and Grampa were sitting on their blow-up bed. Corey just went and put Kaleb down and Kaden had crawled into the covers of their bed. Corey came into the living room and said "common Kaden lets go to bed" and Kaden said "I'm gonna sleep out here with Gramma and Grampa". Corey replied "No, common", Grampa said "Our bed is only big enough for two". Kaden then said "How bout Grampa you go sleep in my bed and I will sleep here with Gramma, Or I know, I know I can sleep down here by your feet". It took a while to convince this kid there wasn't enough room. I love the stuff their little mind can come up with.
Barefoot
We were all just hanging out and Ken went to go get their travel coffee cups out of the car. Kaden wanted to go outside on the balcony to say something to dad and I told him he couldn't because he was barefoot and Kaden said "Hey, I don't have Bear Feet".

A Bit of Funny Things and a Lot to be Thankful for
So the last few days there have been a few cute things that Kaden has said but I haven't had time to write, so here they are....
Corey's parent's were on there way down to our house for Thanksgiving yesterday and Kaden leaned over to Kaleb and said "Guess what Kaleb Gramma and Grampa are on their way down to see us today". SO CUTE =]
We had just finished Gramma's pumpkin bread and Kaden wanted some walnuts, OK this kid will never eat our nuts he only eats Gramma's and Gramp's. Crazy kid
Ken (Corey's dad) took Kaden for a walk before our gobble gobble dinner and Kaden called Corey to say " I love you daddy, I'm at the university"....and can I just say that from our house it is quite a hill to go to SDSU and dad is still going. It's is going to be a long walk carrying Kaden home.
Before the walk it was super cute. Kaden found this tiny red lil heart and he picked it
up and handed it to Auntie Gabbers and said "here you go, don't eat it".
Kaden was playing around and Gab was talking about the movie Bolt and Kaden was talking in the background and was saying "Bolt Talk....ruff ruff" and then he said "I'll go get my ball (a line from the hamster)". He was totally quoting the movie and he has only seen the trailer.
Kaden went over and sat on Gramma's lap and said "Gramma why do you have crazy hair", and then Gramma asked him "why don't you fix it"? Kaden said "I can't fix it, it is crazy". It was a really cute moment.
We have had a really great family day the only thing missing is Kevin, Shelly and the girls. It would have made it perfect. We have had a lot of great memories today and I can't wait for Christmas to add some more. I'm so thankful for God providing for us he is such a great God. I looked around the table today and just felt so blessed. My family and I have had a great year, Corey got a promotion. Kaden started Pre-K and is doing super well and actually loving school this year. We got a great new addition this year that has truly blessed our lives, Kaleb. We had been waiting a long time for this lil guy. Of course I have been doing the same ol same ol but it has been great. I (we) have a lot to be thankful this year. THANK YOU GOD!

Please Pray
Every night we pray with Kaden and whoever is here. We always ask Kaden who he wants to pray. Well for the longest time it was Corey...I mean Corey prayed every night for about a year. It was so funny. For the last month and half Kaden has wanted me to do it. I was in the middle of the prayer and in most moments when I was talking or thinking my mind went blank (the best part of having a baby...Prego brain), well I was praying and I prayed for Milo (our cat) and I guess I wasn't doing a sufficient job because Kaden said "no mom you don't have the hang of it" then Kaden went on to pray "Thanks for Milo and all his tricks". Well I guess everyone can take lessons from their children on how to pray. =]
SHHHH...Look Mom
Corey and I were at our storage unit and Gab was watching the boys. Gab had called me to ask how long the baby could cry in his crib before she needed to go get him. I told her to wait since we were almost there. Then she informs me that Kaden was freaking out that Kaleb wasn't allowed to cry and he wanted her to go get him. Gab told Kaden "it is ok, your mom said she will pick him up when she gets home". That wasn't good enough for Kaden - he would not stop. Well Corey and I showed up within minutes and Kaleb had fallen asleep. Kaden comes up to me and says "SHHH....Mom you have to come see this, it is totally so cute". We had walked into the boys' room and Kaden said "SHHH mom isn't he so cute...Our lil baby is sleeping". Kaden was so proud that his little brother was sleeping in his room. I loved it.

Tinker Bell
Corey was getting Kaden ready to go get Kaleb some Tylenol for his temperature (he got it from his shots). Corey said "you ready kid" and Kaden said "lets sing a song dad...Tinker bell, tinker bell...Tinkle all the way". HAHAHAHA =] SO FUNNY
Oh Me Oh My
Oh man Kaden woke up three times night...just crying his little heart out. He woke up with excruciating pain in his ear. Poor little guy, thank goodness Kaleb slept through it all. I gotta tell you I really have no idea how that happened. Well this morning I woke up around 7:30 because the AT&T guy was coming to fix our phone. The phone guy left and we had a doctors appointment in an hour. We had to go to the doctors for Kaleb's well visit (he had to get shots). Kaleb did so good. I found out that he is 68% height (23.5 in) and 13% weight (10 lbs 2 oz). When he got his shots the poor lil guy just cried, he has been sleeping most of the day too. While we were there I asked the doctor to check out Kaden's ears just in case they might be infected. Sure enough one had an infection. The doctor was so nice that she told me we need to make an appointment, because she couldn't write a prescription if he didn't have one. So she totally changed her appointment around so she could just see him right then and we didn't have to come back. So she wrote a prescription and we went down to the pharmacy and and waited for 35 minutes while they filled it. We just got home when I recived a terrific phone call one of my best friends, Alisha, asking if they could come over. She is in town with her husband and cute lil son, JR. They came over and we visited for a while. That is my day so far...

Some Funny Tidbits
We were eating dinner (Corey, Kaden, Gab and I). Corey was telling us some useless facts and this one popped out... "Hitler had one ball". Kaden then said "Why doesn't he just give it to me". How do you think we got out of that one. Like most parents we just moved on in the conversation.
Later on Gab was cleaning up the dishes and she asked Kaden "can you get the cups off the table" and Kaden replied "I'm at your service".

MY POOR BOYS
Ok so I thought it was going to be a peaceful day, Kaden was going to school. I have bible study, Kaleb goes with me (and is usually really good), we had to run to Costco. It was just supposed to be a normal...slow-going-day....NOPE. Corey was running late with Kaden and on the way to school and work Kaden well he threw up...YUCK...all over his car seat and Corey's car. Corey called me and told me he was on his way back home, and what had happened to Kaden. Corey gets home and we (Gab, Corey and I) started getting Kaden in the bath, we took the car seat apart and started a load of laundry. In the process of all of this Kaleb woke up after sleeping 11 hours (My Goodness that kid likes to sleep). We got Kaden cleaned and I started to feed Kaleb. Corey left for work, and all of a sudden BAM Kaleb threw up (spit up whatever) all over me. I didn't realize how fast 4oz can came up and out of a baby....YUCK. Fun...now what to do, so Kaleb and I went and took a shower, and all I can think is thank goodness I have enough stuff to do another load of laundry. Well a bath, a shower and two sicks kids later we are all sitting here clean and watching Bakyardigans .... The funny thing is Kaden looked at me as I was taking him to change his clothes after his bath he said "today isn't a good day". He rally had no idea how true he was. I thi
nk the best part is it is only 9:30am. =] At least I got a cute picture out of it.

Kaden's School
Today was a super long. Kaden stayed home from school because he is still really sick. I had an appointment to tour his (maybe) soon-to-be elementary school. Corey stayed home and watched Kaden, I took Kaleb (Corey still isn't staying home with him HAHAHAHA =]). We got there and I thought someone would walk around with us and answer questions....NOPE. They gave me a map and told me where to go, thank goodness there was another couple. We toured the place and everything looked pretty good and this sudden chill of stupidity. I had no idea what to look for or what to ask - I was like why am I here. I felt like such a dork. Besides that, it went ok. I did realize that the classes looked small and the teachers looked like they knew what they were doing...does that count? Other then the obvious, I really have no idea if it is a good school. I kind of thought this would be an easy task. I would go and see if we wanted Kaden to go there...thinking we would probably want him to and that would be it. Now I need to go tour other schools to check them out and compare and contrast. Great HUH....like I don't have enough on my plate right now. Well I got home and Corey took off for work, and as soon as he walked out the door Kaden switch from the cute lovable kid to a mini Godzilla. He was testing me left and right. Man I really didn't know if we were both going to make it unti Corey came home. The best part of my day was when both boys went down for a nap. (SO SAD) ...
So later on at dinner I was telling Gab and Corey how the tour went and I said "well at least I was with another couple and they asked some really good questions like the hours the school was opened", and Corey asked me what the hours were. I said "I donno, I don't remember what time they opened, but they close at 2:30 and on Wednesday they close at 11:30". They both laughed at me and my stupidity went even further...What a great day = ]

OH MAN
Poor Kaden he is so sick now. I feel like he just got over something and now he is just coughing all over the place. Please pray for him and also do a lil shout out for Kaleb so he doesn't get anything. I would hate to have him get another cold, the poor lil guy is only 2 months old. Thank you

Brotherly Love
I have been watching Kaden with Kaleb....All I can say is Brotherly Love. Kaden talks to him, he kisses him, he loves to just look at him. He says that he doesn't want to be a brother anymore and I asked him "do you want to get rid of baby Kaleb" and Kaden says "No, i just don't want to be a big brother".

Snuggle Buddies
We all woke up at 7...Kaden slept 11 hours and Kaleb slept 10 again. Man I love that my kids are(and Kaleb is beginning to be) good sleepers. We were all sitting on the couch and I started feeding Kaleb and Kaden crawled onto Corey's lap. Kaden said to Corey "Lets be snuggle buddies daddy", Corey said "I would loved to". The funny thing was Kaden's arms were still above Corey's arms and Kaden said "No dad I want all my parts to be snuggled". It was super cute.

Look at My Eyes
"Ok mama we need...Mama Look at my eyes, Mama you need to look at my eyes" Kaden said over and over again. He was telling me about a sign that we needed to put up for Auntie Gabbers. Kaden said "then sign must read...No Poopoos, No leaking and No Peepee". Kaden said that "the signs are so auntie knows what to do....Man Kids are funny
Stamp it Up
So Kaden was playing and found a Halloween stamp and he asked if he could put one on my hand. I told him yes and he went on to do it and I have a little mole on my hand and Kaden said " I can't stamp that hand it has a nipple on it" I said "What, that is a mole not a nipple" Kaden replied "Oh sorry, if I put it on the mole is will burst so lets put it on your other hand". I told him it is cool....Crazy Kid
10 Hours and Counting
She Freaked Me Out

Kaden and I were looking at pictures on face book of people he may know and he saw Natalie and said "Who is that" I said "Natalie and Mrs. Julie". Kaden replied I don't like Natalie she freaks me out". I asked him "What, Why"? Kaden said "I talk to her and she says something and it just freaks me out". It ended well...I just thought it was funny.

Long Day
Today might have been one of the longest days. It started at a 6 o'clock wake up because we had to get the kids ready for an early breakfast date with Leslie (major funny woman...Love her), a coworker of Corey's at PLNU. She works remotely from Ohio and so she is out on a business trip. We had a delightful/creative commentary from Kaden breakfast. It was great...the waitress came over to take our drink order and Kaden tips over his coffee cup and said "Please". After she brought our drinks and began to order Corey ordered pancakes, Leslie ordered French toast with scrumptious strawberries; I ordered the same but with eggs, bacon and sausage (for Kaden). Our food came minutes later and we were all sitting around the table chatting and I was putting part of our food onto Kaden's plate. I put the eggs, bacon, a piece of French toast and Corey put part of a pancake (by now Kadens plate was overflowing with breakfast food). I love the fact that a 4 year old has more food than a grown construction worker could eat, and is still asking for more. Kaden was asking me for a "hotdog" (the sausage), and I told him that "I didn't think that he would like it", he said "I do I do like hotdogs, I will like it". So I passed one over and sure enough he did, color me surprised. Later on after we had all finished our breakfast and we were just chillin' when and Kaden was playing with his tiny bear (he was laying the bear on his back and putting a glass over the belly and when he pulled the glass off it made the bear have a pot belly so Kaden said "Look my bear is having a baby, fix it". I then replied "honey the bear isn’t having a baby and you can't fix it" My crazy kid.
On our way home I had decided this morning would be a great morning to call Kaden's preschool next year so we could tour it. I called Corey and he sent me the numbers. Kaden and I got tired of waiting and so Kaden said "Mommy lets go get some coffee...We need Coffee". I laughed and said "no we are just going to wait for daddy to call us back" Kaden replied "No mommy we need Coffee". So we went to Starbucks...Like he really needed to twist my arm.
It is about 12 and we were headed up to Lyn, Ethan and Jacobs’s house
. Kaleb had cried the whole way and Kaden just kept saying "mom he is killing me, he hurting my ears". Oh my poor boys. We get up to the house and Ethan and Jacob just love to hold Kaleb (it is the sweetest thing ever). All Ethan wanted to do is feed Kaleb.
The kids began to play and Ethan and Kaden were outside (Jacob was taking a nap). Ethan came in the house while his mom was on the phone and asked to play with the water. She told him no and he just kept asking over and over again. She said he could put a little water on the shovel. Ethan ran outside and grab the hose and started putting water on the shovel (that Kaden was holding) and proceeded to squirt Kaden up
and down (it wasn't too bad). Poor Lyn ran outside and got the hose away from Ethan. The whole time Kaleb slept on the counter calm as can be. It is amazing what this kid can sleep through. To say the least, it was an event filled afternoon with the Anderson's when he got ready to head home.
Finally after a 35-40 min car ride home, both boys were asleep - Hip hip hooray. It was so peaceful - I could have fallen asleep (almost did a minute or two (wait I'm
home how did that happen). We got home and I woke the kids up....Can I just say I'm loving that pic. We get upstairs and Kaden ran outside to find his honey. I gotta tell you what is up with the honey.
Corey came home and the first thing Kaden said was "Dad come get me the honey" Corey said "what honey", Kaden replied as he is running outside "I will show ya". He grabs a bee comes back inside and said "SQUEEZE it Dad", Corey said "squeeze what?" (mind you Corey is trying to cook dinner so he really isn't paying attention - you know guys and their waffle brains...only one thing at a time). So Kaden starts to tell his daddy "I want some honey, squeeze this bee". Corey yelled "KADEN drop the bee you will get stung, even if it is dead". Man a lotta ruckus over a lil bee.
And then I was off to Bible Study...what a day.

Another Great Night
Kaleb slept all the way through the night again, sweet lil guy. I have to tell you guys this little baby makes me want a dozen more. I just look at the sweet little face and he is just so funny (I think he is alrady falling into his brothers footsteps). His face is so expressionate, and his face does the best thing when he looks at the blinds behind the big couch. It is so great. Looking at this little boys face just filles my heart with so much love I can't stand it. It doesn't hurt that he slept all the way through the night again....LOVE
The picture kinda shows it, but you really need to see it in person. His eyes are so crossed and then he makes this O shape with his mouth. He isn't doing that right now but we will try and get a better shot. You will love it too.
I Killed a Bee Where's the Honey
Kaden came running into the house saying "Mom I killed a bee and now I want the honey" I asked him "what do you mean" he replied "I was so brave I killed the bee and the stinger and now I want the honey", I then told him "babe the bee has to be alive to get honey. They make the honey and we eat it, if you kill the bee they can't make the honey". Kaden then told me " Yes you can all you have to do is just squeeze the bee and you get the honey out of the bees belly, mom go squeeze the bee PLEASE". I told him that his daddy was the man of the house and he had to do it. HAHAHA = ] poor Corey look what he has to come home to.

WHAT??

Today has been a hilarious day. Kaden has said funny thing after funny thing. Here are a few thing that I could remember...
It all started with Gab staying home sick and Monica meeting up with us. We were on our way to see High School Musical 3 at a 12:15 showing. So we bought the tickets and we (Monica, Gab, Kaden, Kaleb and I) were running to find seats and Kaden was just so excited. It is fun to see your child sitting in those pull-down blue crusty seats with his imagination ready to explore all this movie has to offer and then he looks at you and says "Mom, I have to go potty". I then asked him "can you wait". Gab and Monica were getting drinks and popcorn and I was sitting with Kaden and Kaleb was in my lap in the snugly. I wasn't in the best position to get up and take him to the bathroom (besides we would have lost our stellar seats). Monica and Gab came back the movie started and he forgot he even had to go.
During the movie Kaden was up and down and was turning all around all over the place. He was killing me. I felt like I had that annoying kid that just wouldn't stop. So we were all sharing popcorn and Monica kept filling up Kaden's lap. Kaden would finish the popcorn that was on his lap and he would say "I need the tub". Monica kept telling him "no, we are all sharing and your popcorn is in your lap". Then Kaden said "NO I need the tub". A little time had passed and Gab and Monica finished all that they wanted from the popcorn tub and Monica handed it to Kaden. Kaden was so excited that he finally had the tub. He started dropping his head into the whole tub. It was a great picture I just wished I hadn't forgotten my camera.
Later on that night...
Monica, Laura, Gab, Kaden and I were at the dinner table and Corey was late, he got a flat tire on his way home from work (man, sucky timing). I started to pray for our dinner Kaden was (Stevie Wonder'ing it) and said "can you see my face moving"?
So I started to pray for our food and for our friends and family. I went on to pray for Corey and his safety home and everything going on with his flat tire when I said "please Lord be with Corey and his flat tire" and then Kaden shouted "WHAT, Corey has a flat tire?".
So we were sitting around just hanging out and Kaden said "mommy my tummy hurts", and asked him what was wrong. He said "it hurts I think I have an ant in my tummy". I got to tell you, I don't know where he gets it.
To end the funny sayings Kaden has been saying all night "Once a Wild Cat always a Wild Cat". Thanks Monica...

Dinner Talk
Tonight Laura, Monica, Auntie Gabbers, Corey, Kaleb, Kaden and I were eating some chicken noodle soup. We were all talking and Gab started movie trivia with Kaden. It is so funny, Gab would ask "what movie has three sharks named Bruce, Anchor and Chum"? Kaden answered "Nemo". Kaden then asked "what movie has a cow, with milk and a barn"? I answered "Barn Yard". So we all went on for a while and then Kaden had mentioned well "Daddy, Monica and I are on the milk team, and Auntie Gabbers, Laura and Mommy are on the water team". The funny thing is that Gab, Laura, Monica, Kaden and I were all drinking milk and Corey was drinking water. Anyways, we were all sitting around the table and it was just so funny that Monica was Kaden's new favorite person. Everytime we would talk about anything he would ask Monica what she thought. It was just super cute.
Well after dinner Kaden and his daddy were playing swords. Kaden had an Adidas headband on over his eyes and was swinging his sword at his father. It was so cute he was practically all over the house almost knocking things off the counter. Kaden then told his daddy "you are David and I'm Goliath". Corey said okay I'm going to get you", and then Kaden replied "Okay Dad you need to stop, I have to win".

My Poor Sick Boys
This morning at 3 am we woke up to a sick little baby. His nose was just running and it was so clogged...He was having such a hard time breathing. I HATE THAT. I feel like I can't do anything for him. After I fed him Corey changed him and back to bed he went. We woke up again to another sick little guy...Kaden. He is having the same congestion problems, and just isn't feeling well and lots of coughing. So please your prayers are definitely needed for our little kids. THANKS

Another Baby I Think NOT!
Well tonight was another hard day for Corey and Kaleb. Within 5 minutes of me leaving the house to go play bunko you guessed it Kaleb threw up allover Corey. As you might think, Corey took it very well. I got a phone call telling me how wonderful his night had started. I was in the midst of having a pretty fun night with the ladies (and 4 guys) that were there when I received a text message telling me that Kaleb had done it again, but much worse. Mind you, Milo had been throwing up most of today too, so POOR COREY has had a puke-filled day. Within a hour I recieved a phone call asking when I was going to be headed home. I told Corey that I would head home now he proceeded to tell me that Kaleb had been crying again all night and threw up twice. That everytime I leave him alone with Kaleb he turns into a completely different kid. My poor little baby...and Kaleb too. Corey was telling me all he wanted was another 3 year old. I feel so bad, it will take me a long time to convince him to have another. I don't even know if I can go to women's retreat yet. Well the nice thing is when I got home Corey had just finished feeding him and I put him right to bed. So hopefully the poor lil guy will feel better in the morning. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.

Small News

Kaleb scooted all the way up and over his boppy pillow, he is so very strong it amazes me sometimes. Kaleb is smiling more and more everyday, I can't hardly wait for him to laugh at Kaden. I feel like it is going to happen any week. Kaden tries everyday to make Kaleb smile. Kaden is such a great big brother, all he wants to do is make Kaleb happy. I am one blessed mom. Just look at those Cute B
God Healed Me

Kaden and I were walking out to the car to run to the store when he tripped and fell on the concrete, poor lil guy got hurt. It wasn't to bad. He cried a little but was okay. I was driving down the road when Kaden said "you know what mom, God healed me" I said "what? He healed what". Kaden replied " My arm mom, God healed me, he is a good God mom". I just love how in touch Kaden is with God. Kaden just loves learning about him and he loves talking about him a lot too. I'm so proud of him, and God is Good!

What a Shame
I had a little quick note. I was at Costco today and this guy came up to me and asked me how old Kaleb was. He had actually asked a bunch of questions like, “how big was he when he was born?” and “does he sleep well?”. And the normal questions you get with little babies while you are out around town (well, and having the cutest little baby boy too). The guy even touched Kaleb’s hand. I was just taken back to the point that I started to sweat and get nervous. I was so out of my comfort zone. I couldn't understand why I was so uncomfortable with this guy asking simple question about my little baby and then it came to me…it isn't normal. Most of the time you hear these kinds of questions coming from a woman, not man. How sad is it that we just assume that when men are interested in our kids it is creepy and always a bad thing. You feel like they are only nice to your kids because they have something up their sleeves. I hate how the world has hardened me. I know in the end we need to protect our kids from all the scary people out there but we also need to show them that there are nice people out there too. We need to teach our kids that God made good in people and we just need to find it. Sometimes it is just as simple as answering some simple questions. I love that God shows us the good in the little things, especially when you need it.
Only on Sundays

It was Sunday morning and we were all getting ready for church. I was in the process of putting Kaleb in his car seat when Kaden came up to me and asked "mom, are we going to school?" I said "No sweetheart we are all getting ready to go to church" then Kaden asked "why are we going to church" and I told him that "It is Sunday, and we go to church on Sundays because we love Jesus". Kaden then said "Oh yeah and we don't love Jesus on Mondays". I took a second and then said "now Kaden we love Jesus everyday we just go to church on Sundays to learn more about him". Kaden said "Ok mom I love Jesus everyday, and he loves us".
