Hearing

Today we had Karsyn's hearing test. We have been somewhat worried about her speech. I am not overly worried just want to get it checked out. She flied with flying colors. I took two littles with me. Lala and Everett. All three of them were amazing. The waited in the waiting room for 25 mins and barely made a peep. People would walk by in shock there were kids sitting there at all. When we walked into the examination room there were two ladies and a man. One lady said with a shocked look on her face I hope you can keep them quite. I said yes I thought I could. The other lady asked Karsyn to follow her into a separate room attached to the room we were in. We could see them through the glass. The man sat behind a computer getting ready to send some sound waves to Karsyn. I sat the two littles on a chair and they were completely silent. The were having trouble with getting the ear phone to work so the appointment took longer then they anticipated. The entire time E and L were little angels. Karsyn passed her test. They gave them all stickers. The 'shocked looked' woman said about Karsyn 'she just eludes elegance'. She told me that Karsyn walked into the room and sat on the chair and crossed her legs. She called her a little lady. I laughed and said she was and has always been a little lady. The two ladies both told me how impressed they were about all three little ones. They said it was the best they have ever seen. I take great pride in that these kids were so well behave. =) I was very proud of these little ones.

Mission Project

In 4th grade you have a huge project and it's called the "Mission Project". I was not looking forward to this project. Kaden has a hard time with normal homework and school work. It gets worse with big projects. Kaden and I went and visited San Juan Batista to take pictures and to tour it. We had a great time. When working in Kaden's class I learned how he was doing and I would work with him on the written project. He did amazing. He really surprised me. I was so proud of him. Corey came home and brought a kit to make his mission. Corey and Kaden worked very hard on the mission. It turned out very nice and Corey thought Kaden could do a powerpoint presentation to go along with his speech. Kaden did amazing. He was extremely creative and did a great job. I will post a video soon. =)

Art Fair

The kids had a Art Fair at school yesterday. It was fun seeing the kids Art. We saw Kaden's mission displayed as well. Kaden got to hold some ducks too. It was super sweet.

Strawberry

Karsyn got this sweet little bear from a great friend Francesca. I asked Karsyn if she wanted to name her bear and she replied "Oh YES, how about strawberry". I thought it was so sweet and a tiny bit confusing. LOL You will understand once you see the bear. I love this little girl so much.

Kaden

Well the time has come, Kaden has seen a Orthodontist and is getting braces. Poor kids we figured out that his lower jaw did not grow how it was supposed to. Kaden's over bite it due to that. He still needs braces and we are going to be placing a Tblock into his mouth It is like a top and bottom retainer. When Kaden closes his mouth the Tblock will move his jaw forward and when Kaden has a growth spurt his jaw should start to grow. We are really hoping this works. Because if not we don't have a lot of options. Kaden will need jaw surgery if the Tblock doesn't work. The Orthodontist is very hopeful and has seen it work on many kids. Kaden got his braces on and has been a true trooper. He broke the wire after the second day fiddling with it but now knows having braces is a luxury, I am sure he understands and it will be a smooth ride.  I will keep you updated.

Check Up

I got the two little ones a check up this last week. I laugh because these two being 5 (Kaleb) and 3 (Karsyn) are the same size. I get asked all the times if they are twins. Karsyn really tall for her age and Kaleb is pretty tiny. Their measurements are Kaleb 44in ~ 38lbs Karsyn 41.5in ~ 36lbs.

Kaleb's Sharing

I get the pleasure I working in in boys classroom every wed. I was blessed that my husband for years would watch the two little ones but now that it's just Karsyn my friend Dilenna takes her and we do a swap. I watch her two little ones on Thursdays. I love working their class. Seeing how they are growing up and what they are learning. I get to watch Kaleb do his sharing. It's so fun to see how well he does from where he started from at the beginning of the year.

Swiming

The kids love swimming. We swim at our friend Niki's house all the time these days. Kaleb has learned a new trick. He is so excited he had to share everyone. I love my brave boy.

Mother's Day

My favorite moment this morning with Kaleb. I was getting up and Kaleb came running in. He said so sweetly. "Mom we need you to stay in bed I will let you know when you can get up". I asked if he could bring my phone, he ran off to get it. He came back with my phone and my computer and said "just in case your battery dies". Sweet kid ever. Kaleb ran back in a moment later with a menu. Super cute. Ten minutes later Kaleb and Karsyn came running in with a plate of food. So excited to please me. The ran and got their food so they could join me. Kaden and Corey joined us soon after. After my wonderful breakfast we got ready for church and had a wonderful time there. We left for our traditional lunch at Miguel's. It was our tenth year in this tradition. We had a glorious time with the May's and Hope's. We had a calm afternoon of just family bonding. It was a fabulous Mother's Day. I am truly blessed beyond measure.
I will forever Love and Miss my mother. This day is and forever will be a bitter sweet day. I wish for so many things. I wish my kids can see their Bamma, I wish she could see their personalities and see who these amazing kids are turning out to be. I wish She could answer all my question only a mother could. Mom I want to wish you a Happy Mother's day forever and always.
