Our Sunday School class has an anual pumpkin carving party. This year Corey and I got to host. I love doing that. It was fun making dessert and decorating our house. It was a blast. We had a little contest on who had the best pumpkin and the kids all voted and Kaden won. He was supper excited and he won a Jamba Juice gift card. =)

Halloween Carnival
I love this time of year. I love dressing the kids up in their costumes and going to carnivals and trick-or-treating. I love seeing their joy and excitement. It is so fun to see them all dressed up. This year Karsyn is Pebbles, Kaleb is Bam Bam and Kaden is a military guy. We had a great time going to Kaden's school carnival on Saturday. The kids played some games and won two cake at the cake walk. Here are some pix of our morning/afternoon. =)

Love is in the air
Ever since we mood in to this house almost a year ago Kaleb and Violet have become better and better friends. They are so cute together. They play all the time. Well recently Kaleb has been talking about marrying Violet. It is so cute. Kaleb ran over to Violets house to ask Emma and Mark if he can marry her. (Awwww I have raised a good 'man'). He ran back home, ran to violet and asked her. It was so sweet. I have a lil video of part of it.

Kaleb
Kaleb took a whole to learn to talk. He observed us and when he was ready he did it. He has always done things in his own time. He says the cutest things.
"I can't know".
"Him not ready".
"Are you listening to my words".
"That an idea".
"That funny".
"Mommy, I went pee pee and poo poo in 'toylet' again". "You crack me up". The next sentence out of his mouth was "Mom you need a job"
He calls Milo 'Cat Milo' and calls Karsyn and Olivia 'Baby Sarsyn' and 'Baby Livia' Auntie Monica he calls her Auntie That One ( I would ask Kaleb who he was talking about when he said 'Auntie'. I would point to a picture and say that one. Well he picked up on the words that one).
"Mommy, I don't want Santa to only bring me underwear".
While looking at the tolet Kaleb said "MOM, look at the poo poo, there is a Daddy one and a Mommy one and a baby one. That funny mom".

Dodgeball =)
I remember a time where we didn't come home until the sun was going down, we would ride our bikes everywhere. We loved playing in the river and we were never inside. I remember throwing the orange rubber balls at friends heads and not getting in trouble for it....THATS right dodgeball. I LOVED that game. I loved it because I was fast and I could dodge things flying at my head like nobodies business. You could even say I rocked that game in elementary and middle school......so when Corey told me that Kaden could play dodgeball I was defiantly all in. Kaden loved the idea (ahhhh my child I love you) and totally wanted to play. I was super excited to know that they have switched to soft colored balls. So you can get nailed in the head and it wont hurt. Corey and I missed his first game. His uncle Ants took him. So nonetheless I couldn't wait for today. I couldn't wait to see Kaden play this fun little sport. The age do however run from 8-12. It is a good thing Kaden it tall and thin. It is hard for the kids to nail him with the ball. Kaden has done really well the last two games. I can't wait to see how good he gets at the end of the 6 weeks. Here are some pix of his night playing dodgeball. Oh and we got to the game a little early so they ran on the field. :)

Overheard in the Fling House!
Some things overheard in the Fling house hold.
"Our butts get treated better then my nose"
"You should buy mom coffee, because you love her and because she is going to kill you when she sees Kaleb's outfit"
"Oh your name is Kaden too. You are a brotha from anotha motha"
"We have a spoon thief....No Kaleb is a bog boy"
I love my family and their crazy comments. =)

Car Chat
On the way home tonight Kaleb and Kaden were having a conversation about death. I know you are thinking WHAT???? However, Corey and I just sat there and listened while Kaden discussed with Kaleb what happens when you die and at what age you can die. Here was a little part of the discussion.
Kaden: "Everyone dies Kaleb"
Kaleb: "Ahhhhhh" (in a very sad voice)
Kaden: "Well its ok because we go to a better place, do you know where we go"?
Kaleb: "No"
Kaden: "We go to a better place so thats good, we go to heaven"
Kaleb: "Babies die"?
Kaden: "Well babies don't die because they don't walk, when they walk they can die because they can walk into the street...little babies don't die though".
Kaleb: "Our babies (Karsyn and Olivia) can't die"
Kaden: "We don't have babies"
Kaleb: "Sarsyn and Ivia"
Kaden: " Olivia can't die because she can't walk, Karsyn isn't a baby"
Kaleb: "Yes she is Baby Sarsyn"
Kaden: "No Kaleb babies are 0-1 once you are 2 you are a toddler and toddlers can die because they can walk".
YUP!!!! That was our ride home. I really have no idea where these kids get this stuff. Crazy Kids! =)

New Stats
I took the kids to the doctors today. It was an interesting appointment because I wanted to get both done at once. It worked really well. I was in and out pretty fast. However I am watching a lil tiny baby Olivia. She cried and cried poor thing. Once I got her to sleep the appointment went a lot better. Kaleb did very well. He did everything the doctor asked and I am very proud of him. He measured in at 32.6 lbs 30% weight and 40 inches 60% in height. He is our little guy. I call him my might mouse. The doctor said that he is measuring smaller but boys continue to grow and girls stop faster. So he could end up being really tall. Who knows. =) Kaleb had to get 4 shots and was supposed to get his blood drawn Thank goodness because he isn't going to Kindergarten next year he didn't need the blood drawn yet. Now Karsyn's turn, Karsyn had a very successful appointment as well. She was a little more reluctant to do everything the doctor said, but did well. She only needed two shots. Karsyn measured in at 27.3 lbs 25% weight and 35.25 inches 95% height. She is our tall little girl. It makes me laugh because Karsyn is only wearing a size smaller in her shoes then Kaleb. That is the gist of our doctor appointment.

Baby Olivia

Sweetest kids in the whole world.
Yup! Karsyn wasn't in the mood.
I love it =)
Sweet Faces =)
