When we started this summer we embarked on this new world in a way...this was Kaden's last summer before school. We tried to fill it with new traditions that we hope to carry on. We filled our summer with so many wonderful memories that I will cherish. I can't believe that tomorrow my baby heads to kindergarten and in 10 days my itty bitty baby turns one. I really have no idea how I am handling it this well. I thought I would have to committed to the nut house by now. Tonight we had a picnic dinner on the floor in the living room and watched Finding Nemo. We got take out from Chili's and sat on the carpet and just enjoyed each other. I thought it would be a great end to a great summer. Tomorrow we begin a new adventure. Kaden starts school at 7:40 in the morning. His brain is going to be filled with all these amazing things and he'll have even more questions. I can't wait to see my little boy grow up over this next year. SO many changes will happen. Please pray for us tomorrow as we head off to school. It will be a big day for all of us.

Summer is Offically Over
Today we rang out the towels, we put the diving rings away and say goodbye to summer. I watched Kaden at the pool today and couldn't believe the changes I saw in him. When we started the summer he was holding on the edge and wouldn't swim at all on his own. Well not any longer - he can dive for toys touch the bottom anytime he wanted (at the deep part - 6ft). Today he swam from one end to the other with out stopping at all. What a summer does to a kid. I'm so proud of him.
