Glow Sticks

I was running around the house trying to get stuff ready to leave the house for Trick-or-Treating tonight, when Monica started laughing. I asked what happened and she said " Kaden went and got the scissors to open up the glow stick package Monica said "that probably isn't a very good idea"and Laura said "I don't think you are supposed to use those scissors" and Kaden said "I know, I need a grown up to do but you guys wont help me".

Well at least he knew he needed a grown up....RIGHT

My Farmers

Today was a big rush to get Kaden to school on time. He had his class carnival today and he had to be dressed like a farmer or a cowboy, he went as a Farmer (cute overalls, plaid shirt and a baseball hat). Kaden wanted Kaleb to be dressed like him. So I found a plaid shirt and put Kaleb in overalls too. So I was running around the house getting the boys ready and oh, my boys they sure looked cute. On the way to school Kaden would say "stop here mom , it's a red light". Then he would say "go, go , go mom it's green". Kaden went on and on about how I should drive. Finally we got to his school and he said" few mom we made it". I then asked him "what did you mean by that?" Kaden went on in telling me that "mom there were a lot of cars out there and they could of hit us, you drove really well mom". Now I know there are a lot of you out there that would beg a differ, but what can I say I have one person that is a fan of my driving.

Smile = ]

My sweet little baby is growing up so fast. He is six weeks yesterday and this morning he saw me and smiled. It just melted my heart. He has smiled before but now it recognition smiling. Oh, I defiantly needed it after this week. My sweet little boy. = ]

In the Sky

Kaden and I were talking to Corey on the phone (he was at the Texas airport waiting for his connecting flight to Florida). Corey added photos on his facebook so Kaden could see what he was doing. I told Kaden "that is what your daddy is doing right now, he is flying to Texas and then to Florida" Kaden said "He is flying over us right now?" I told him "Kinda, he was in the sky". Kaden ran out side and yelled "where is he Mommy, I can't see him". Kaden came back inside and said "Lets send him a text message and say we love him". I love it...So cute

Mr Potato Heads

I was a little nerves getting up this morning because it is the start of a week with two boys on my own. Corey is at a work conference and so I think I stressed out or something happened and I gave myself a migraine (I know what you’re thinking what a great way to start off this week). Well we were supposed to go hang out with Lyn, Ethan and Jake today but with my eye site gone I thought it wouldn't be the best idea not to drive. Poor Kaden was so bummed out...but he was handling it pretty well. I had put on a movie for him and I told him he could play with his Mr. Potato Heads. I then fed the baby and put him down for a nap, with in two minutes of putting little Kaleb down Kaden came into the room with two of his Mr. Potato Heads placed in a very inappropriate places (all I was think was where did I go wrong). I now have to have a very important talk with the lil guy. Man that kid has an interesting imagination...Kind of scary if you ask me. I can hardly wait to see what he does next. He is definitely keeping me on my toes. (hey at least I didn't laugh right = ] )

Jesus Will Be With Him

Gab and I were sitting here waiting out the morning and I just had gotten off the phone with Corey. He is at the airport waiting on his flight to Florida that has been delayed because of fog. When I got off the phone I said to Gab "Corey is totally going to be late coming home on Halloween, that is totally going to suck" and she said "well I will be here for you" and Kaden said "Jesus will be with Daddy". I'm so proud of that kid. = ] I told Kaden "your right honey, Jesus is always watching over us. Good job". It is those lil things that remind me how blessed I am.

Church Carnival, Mc Donalds and a YUCK

It all started with two cute dino's and it ended with church carnival, McDonald's and a YUCK. We had a great time at the church carnival - Kaden was all over the place sliding down the big blow up slides and bouncing the big bouncer to trunker treating (people bring their cars and the kids go trick or treating in their trunks). He was having a blast, everyone loved the boys’ matching costumes. We then left so late and none of us had any food so we rushed to McDonald’s and hurried home to give Kaden a bath and put him to bed. During our time in the drive-through, all Kaden wanted was a toy. Well I kept telling him "no Kaden we are just sharing a meal". He rolled his window down and was yelling "excuse me I want a kids box...please can I just have a kids box". He said it over and over. Corey and I kept telling him to stop. We got our food and headed home.

Well let’s get to the YUCK part.....We were getting the kids ready for bed and Kaden was about to take his shower and then Kaden found this green thing. He kept asking us what this green thing was, finally I just said "please Kaden just put it back on the counter and leave it alone, go get ready for your shower". He just kept on and finally I realized it was Corey's gum in the wrapper coming out, and I told Kaden to leave it alone it was his daddy's gum. He looked at Corey in such disgust I was shocked. Then he told his daddy "YUCK ... oh man that was YUCK". Kaden then began to walk down the hall and was saying in a low voice "that was terrifying". Well then he went and took his shower and now they are both tucked in tight and ready for the night.
