I went to the doctor a couple of days ago to check Karsyn speech. They tested Karsyn with play-based activities and observation and my interview. Her score interpretation, standard scores is between 85 and 115 are with in average and Karsyn is 77. So she has a significant delay. She was tested at receptive language and a 100 is average with a standard deviation of 15 points. Karsyn achieved a standard score of 94 and a percentile rand of 34. When compared to her age-matched peers, this was considered a low average. She checked Karsyn for behavior and Pragmatics and Karsyn scored 100 on that (not surprising...Karsyn is awesome. =) ). Karsyn was also tested for Functional Communication measures and she only got one server deficits and that was on speech production. Overall Karsyn will be starting speech in August. Hopefully she will like it and it will help us understand her a lot more. =)
