Kaleb's 1st Time-Out

Well it has happened. Kaleb has gotten his first time-out. I can't believe it. It was so sad to see him crying but it was totally necessary. Kaleb was screaming and Corey and I kept telling him no and he wouldn't listen so Corey put him in time-out. Kaleb has this new bad habit...he screams at us when he is mad, someone (Kaden) takes something away, shoot anytime he really likes. I have to tell you it DRIVES me NUTS. Well I guess he has had his new right of passage. We will see how many more times he is gonna need it. Oh and I was just talking about Kaleb and his bond with Milo well the funny thing is when Kaleb went on time-out Milo came out of our room and had to sit with him. =) He was totally trying to play with him through the baby gate. It was kinda cute. =)

Kaleb and Milo

Kaleb just loves our kitty Milo. I have captured video and pictures. It is so sweet. Kaleb tries to lay with Milo on the floor and he just wants to snuggle with him. Here is the video of their bond.

Carnival

We went to Gab's school because they were having a Carnival. It was so much fun. Kaden loved playing and getting his face panted (he asked to painted like an American Indian...He is so proud). Kaden even told the girl who was painting his face that our cat Milo is an American Indian cat. =) It was a fun family outing. =)

Time With Kaleb

Kaden went to school today and Kaleb and I got to hang out just the two of us. I love spending time with the kids one on one, and today was a good day with Kaleb. I also got a chance to tape him giggling...I just love his giggle. It is so sweet I had to share it with all of you. :)

Climber

OK I know Kaleb is a great climber and a strong baby...But I did not see this coming. Kaleb crawled out of his crib yesterday. UGH. I was wracking my brain trying to figure out what to do or buy to keep him in his crib. He is such a wild little baby I want to try to keep him in there at least 3-6 more months. Kids are easier to teach things when they are a little bit older....so hopefully we can prolong switching him to a big boy bed for a while longer. Corey figured out how to rig the crib. We have this really long storage container (it is a under bed so long and the height is short) and the Corey lowered the bottom of the crib to fit right on top of the container and the put the mattress right over that and it adds about 2-3 inches. I'm praying it will work. =) Knowing Kaleb I give two weeks to figure a new way out. Just kidding. So keep us in your prayers that this all works out. =)

Well I have another Walker

Kaleb has been taking steps towards something for at least 4 months....I wanna say it is closer to 5. He has been walking around furniture for at least 5 months. I can not stop this from happening any longer, and if you know me you know it is not for a lack of trying and you know I'm not kidding. I just can't believe I have another walker. =) I'm sure he will be running soon and no worries I will let you know. =) (He is also very smart and as soon as I turn on anything he stops all tricks ASAP).

Sweetest Thing

Kaleb and I picked Kaden up from school and we were riding home and Kaden said "Mom, you know what this is" Kaden held up his hand in the shape of a heart and he is looking through it). I asked him "What is it bug", he replied "it is a gift for you....it is my heart filled with my love for you". My heart just melted. I love it so much....I think that is by far the sweetest thing he has ever said to me. I live for moments like these. He is such a sweet and loving kid. =)
