Lately I have really been trying to talk to Kaden to about Kindergarten. I want him to feel comfortable on his first day of school and to know that it is coming. We were in the car just chatting and this was our conversation...
Me: "Hey bud, are you excited school is coming up"
Kaden: "Well mom, I'm going to miss you and daddy"
Me: "That's ok, but just remember we love you and you are going to have so much fun"
Kaden: "Do you remember when dad went to kindergarten, didn't he miss Gramma and Grampa"?
Me: "Yes honey, but he also had a lot of fun and learned a lot of stuff...It was hard at first, but he stayed brave and made it through and so will you"
Kaden: "I don't know mom, I think it is going to be really hard!"
Me: "You can do it honey"
Kaden: "Oh I know mom"
