Another Funny Tidbit

Corey leaves for three days today and Kaden come ups to me and said "NOW Mom, don't worry I'm the man of the house while dad is away" and as he walks away he chuckled and said "Haha the man of the house has to go to school. Now that's funny". I love when he cracks himself up.

Little Something Funny

Kaden did not eat his sandwich at school on Friday and I told him he couldn't have cookies this week and he said to me "Ok mom, no hard feelings. I understand". Boy I love that kid. =]

First Day of 1st Grade

Today was the big day. Kaden's first day of 1st grade. Corey loves to interview Kaden on the first day and it was kinda funny this year. When we went to drop him off we got meet his teacher and she was so nice. She took a picture with Kaden and he got to see where his desk was. I thought it was crazy he was sitting next to Rceli (which is a girl in his class from last year and they sat next to each other in Kindergarten (what are the odds =} )) There was a special bag with his name on it with a letter from Mrs. Slama telling him how great it will be this year...it was over all a very cute and sweet letter from her. When I picked him up he told me he had a great day and that he LOVED his teacher....and when Corey asked him what his favorite thing about his teacher and he said her kindness (insert sniff). I was so proud. He told us where he got to play (on the blue playground) but he doesn't play on the structer because some of the kids are too big and it "worried him" HAHA. Hopefully soon. I just can't get over that my little man is in 1st grade already. =) Time flies.

Jumping Tricks

Kaden wanted me to video him making some of his jumping tricks into the pool. So I thought I would share.

Colors

We were working on Kaleb's colors today and we took two videos the first one was his first time trying to find the colors that matched. The second video is his third time doing it. I couldn't believe how fast he was getting it. I'm thinking we should have done this a while ago. By the third time he was playing like he didn't know where and kept looking at Corey like tell me dad. He still has some work but he sure made some really good progress today. =] I know what we are working on tomorrow. =]

Monica Day!!

Auntie Monica nannies this sweet little guy Nate. She asked and I of corse said yes if she could take Kaleb on Fridays so the boys can play. Yesterday was the first time she took him and they all had a really great time. It was so sweet the boys loved to play together. Kaleb even took a nap. It was so sweet to hear abbot his day and to know he did so well.

Swim with some Brotherly Love

Kaleb and Kaden LOVE to swim. I think it is one of their favorite thing to do in the summer. One of Kaleb's favorite things to do while swimming is to push his brother into the pool and then jump in. The sweet thing is Kaden let's him do it all the time. I have some pretty sweet boys.
