1st Doctor visit $15...2nd Doctor visit $37 including antibiotics...Another Doctor visit for Kaleb $15.....Our two great boys PRICELESS

Last night was the longest night in a long time. The night started off good. We had dinner with some really great people the Anthony's (co-workers of Corey's. We all had a great time and on the way home Kaden started crying and yelling that his ear was hurting. We got home and Kaden was up screaming literally forever. His ear was hurting so bad and he was crying which I'm sure didn't make him or it feel any better. This poor lil' guy just kept screaming..."I can't take this anymore"..."Oh my ear hurts so bad, I don't know what to do". Corey slept with him last night and it helped...I guess at least he wasn't screaming anymore. Kaleb only woke up once through the night which is good...I have no idea how he didn't wake up more. Anyways this morning Corey stayed home to make an appointment to take him to the doctors. He of course had a ear-infection and prescribe him amoxacilen and Corey got him children Advil to help with pain next time. Man I'm telling you these colds are starting to add to make things a little worse the doctor thinks we need to take Kaleb back so they can check his ears too. They think because his ear is dripping a little bit it is a start of one and they want to stop it before it starts....what another $15 for the kids...POOR LITTLE GUYS.

What am I going to do

On our way from leaving the x-ray place Kaden went to receptionist and said "excuse me, I'm going to date you". She replied "I'm sorry what?" Kaden replied "I'm going to date you". She said "Umm, maybe in 15 years". I really have no idea what we are going to do with this kid.

X-RAY

We just saw the doctor and the doctor told us Kaleb was wheezing pretty bad, the good news he didn't have an ear infection. The doctor told us we needed to get a chest x-ray because his chest sounded really bad. We headed downstairs to get the x-ray. I walked with Kaleb, the x-ray technician rolled this wooden thing towards us. He said "I''m going to roll this over here and we will get started". I asked what the contraption was. To describe this wooden torture chamber, it is a round wooden plank with the center of it hollowed out and in the middle of it is a tiny bike seat. Hooked to the wood is his plastic tube that opens and shuts...basically you put the baby in the middle of this contraption and hold his hands above his head. They shut the plastic tube and I hold the his hands above his head. There is a leather strap to hold his tiny bald head so it won't fall backwards. I wanted to cry - the poor lil' guy looked so sad. He cried and cried - Corey said he heard him in the waiting room. The technician took 3 x-rays and then let me take him out because the machine wasn't working and then I had to put him back for one last one. Praise God everything was ok. His chest looked good no pneumonia. They gave him a medication and sent us on our way. My poor baby...please pray that he starts to feel better soon.

What would the Police say???

We (Kaden, Kaleb Corey and I) were on our way to the doctors office. Kaden and Kaleb got a little souvenir (a cold) from Christmas up at Corey's parents house from his little cousins. Like they say the best things kids share are germs =). Ok so the funny thing is we were headed to the car and Kaden climb on top of the trunk (which is really unusual for him, he really just goes and stands by his side of the car). He looks at me and I told him to get down and to get into the car.
Kaden: "I can't get down I'm scared up here"
Me: "Well I guess you are just gonna have to ride back there, be careful"
Kaden: "MOM (in his lil sarcastic voice), Dad what will the police say"?
Dad: "I don't know, what will they say Kaden?"
Kaden: "They will say (he cocked his head to the side) you aren't supposed to drive with kids on the back of your car...or they will stick me in the trunk".

New Year

Well I was thinking about what has happened this past year and I have to say I'm one blessed woman. I have two beautiful boys - Kaden who is 4.5 and Kaleb who is 3 months old. They are the light of my life. Kaden is so funny, this kid could make the English guards laugh. Kaden is such a sweet boy he truly loves his family and would do anything for them...It just comes out in a 4.5 year-old's nature right now. All he wants to do is make us happy, Kaden couldn't be any better when he come to his brother. He loves Kaleb and tells him so everyday (sometimes all day long). He tells him he is his best friends in the world and tries to make him happy which isn't too difficult with Kaleb (he is a pretty happy baby). Kaden is a handful of energy and I cannot believe he is going to kindergarten this year...where has the time gone? My baby has grown up so fast. To talk about our new little guy...Kaleb he is our sweet lil' 3 month old he is a true blessing. We have been trying for him for a long time. Having 4 miscarriages truly taught us 3 major things 1. God is always with us 2. He gives us strength when we need it most 3. Things always come in Gods timing. When waiting for the perfect new member to come sometimes I think we thought it would never happen and soon enough we had our precious little guy. God knew who would fit just right and boy was he right - Kaleb fits perfectly. He is a sweet-natured and a little bashful bundle of love. When you make him laugh he tries to hide his face. He frightens easily but recovers well and boy does he love his big brother - it is evident when Kaden walks over to him without saying a word and Kaleb just smiles. I can hardly wait to watch him grow this next year. I'm blessed with a husband who has my heart he would do anything for me and me for him, he loves me more then I know. How did I ever find him. He is such a great father and confidant. I love just sitting back and watching him with our boys (I am totally out numbered). Watching them all play makes my heart sing. It just reminds me how God knows us so well. I have always thought I wanted a girl but if I had gotten one I wouldn't have this precious picture of all my boys. I have a great sister that takes great care of my kids and loves them as if they were her own. She is such a great Auntie and she would do anything for them and has practically had to. She is a great friend and a loving sister. I have two great parents (in-law if you can say that). They have been so wonderful to me for 10 great years. They are my pillars of strength and are always praying and holding us up. They have shown me how to be the parent that I am. Their Godliness and prayer has helped me in my life more than I think they will ever know. I love them so much. I also have my dad that is a new part of my life but has just stepped in and truly loved on my boys. He loves them so much and you know he feels blessed just looking at his face. I have my mom, sister (Dominique), and her husband-Tony I found out some really great news they are now expecting a new little bundle. I think they are going to be due around their 1 year wedding anniversary. I have a brother and sister Kevin and Shelly. Now what I have learned just recently Kevin and I are truly brother and sister brought together by Corey. We fight like we are, but we end up talking and getting over it...I love this guy. He teaches me that I need to relax and to just let go of the stress. Shelly is such a sweet person. I love her and I wished we all lived closer. I love hanging out with them and wish we were able to spend more time with them. They have two girls Crystall and Kaylee and we just found out that they are pregnant with another (we don't know the sex yet and they wait to find out...UGH...I hate not knowing, but I love that there is a choice). They are sweet little girls and I love watching them grow. They are getting so big. I love to watch all the kids play together it is so sweet. I can't wait until they get a little bigger. I just know one thing for sure....I'm one blessed woman.

Are you Qualified

Gab was washing dishes at moms and dads house during the holidays and
Kaden yelled "Dad I have to go potty"
Dad: "ok go"
Kaden: "No, I need help"
Dad: "Just go I'm coming"

See Kaden didn't like going without anyone at Gramma's and Grampa's house is kinda scared him. The doors were all shut and it scared him to go in with the lights off.

Gab: "I'll go with you"
Kaden: "No, I have to go Poop"
Gab: "it's ok, I will help"
Kaden: "Aunite are you good at wiping my bottom"
Gab: "I think so"

Oh I donno Gab has been a preschool for 2.5 years you think she can handle it?

Nasty Yogert...Another Kadenism

We (Kevin, Shelly, Girls, Mom and Dad, Gab, Corey the Boys and I) were eating and
Corey: "Kaden do you want some bread and butter"
Kaden: "Yes"
Corey: "Here is some natural yogurt butter"
Kaden: "I want some nasty yogurt

....and we all laughed.
