X-RAY

We just saw the doctor and the doctor told us Kaleb was wheezing pretty bad, the good news he didn't have an ear infection. The doctor told us we needed to get a chest x-ray because his chest sounded really bad. We headed downstairs to get the x-ray. I walked with Kaleb, the x-ray technician rolled this wooden thing towards us. He said "I''m going to roll this over here and we will get started". I asked what the contraption was. To describe this wooden torture chamber, it is a round wooden plank with the center of it hollowed out and in the middle of it is a tiny bike seat. Hooked to the wood is his plastic tube that opens and shuts...basically you put the baby in the middle of this contraption and hold his hands above his head. They shut the plastic tube and I hold the his hands above his head. There is a leather strap to hold his tiny bald head so it won't fall backwards. I wanted to cry - the poor lil' guy looked so sad. He cried and cried - Corey said he heard him in the waiting room. The technician took 3 x-rays and then let me take him out because the machine wasn't working and then I had to put him back for one last one. Praise God everything was ok. His chest looked good no pneumonia. They gave him a medication and sent us on our way. My poor baby...please pray that he starts to feel better soon.
