Christmas

We had a great  Christmas this year.  This is the forst year in 8 years to not travel to see family.  It was long overdue. We had company, my sister (Dominique) and her family (Tony and Giovanni) came to spend the holiday with us. We didn't have a traditional Christmas that we normally have. On Christmas Eve we met my other sister (Gabrielle) stepies (Brenden and Brett). They were very sweet boys and we loved spending time with them. We then let the kids open up some presents. They had a blast. The day just got away from us while we were waiting for the rain to stop and we settled in and let the kids watch a movie and have some hot choco and popcorn. The next morning the kids were surprised to find what Santa left them. They were filled with joy as they played with their new toys. Auntie Gabbers and Uncle Kevan showed up minutes later and she started to make cinnamon rolls. I put the roast in the crock pot for dinner and we thought we didn't make it to Sea World yesterday why not today. (The whole trip while Dom was in town just we all just rolled with the flow, I guess thats what happens when you have kids). Doms hub Tony had to leave around 5 to head to the airport to head home (suck I know...Right). At least we had most of the day. We headed out to explore the animals under the sea. We were all having a great time that we didn't leave in time to have dinner at the house. We decided it was more important to be together so we headed out into San Diego looking for an open restaurant  Not thinking it would be all that hard...UMmmmm WRONG. Nothing was open but Denny's. We kept driving hoping to find something...anything else.  To our surprise that was it.  A depressing meal at Denny's it was. At least we were together and that was what was most important. After our not so AhhMazzzing meal at Denny's we drove Tony to the airport and said our goodbyes. We headed home and got everyone bundled up to go see Christmas Lights. The kids loved them as usual  I will post some pix so you can see for yourself. We went to a new place this year. Each house was teamed and unique. It was amazing. The kids and adults loved it. Well that was our Christmas all tied up with a red bow. ;) I hope you like the pix. =)
